| It has been super long since I last posted and that is because of the busy summer I had and not it's back at the school thing! I have Anatomy and Physiology and Chemistry. They take a lot of time and I think next time I will only take one science course at a time. With the amount of hours I am taking, I also have to take chapel. I don't mind chapel except when I really need to be studying for an exam or getting some homework done. After my exam in Chemistry next Monday I will be able to relax a little for a week or two. I am really starting to appreciate Christmas break and summer more than ever!! I also have to finish taking the JQE. I have only taken the verbal portion and lack three other parts I need to take next week. I hate exams! I have put off the JQE just because of the fact that it is a test. I get very worked up over test and need some outlet afterward so I can calm down. I was very thankful for all of the rain we got last night since my lawn was starting to crunch when we walked on it. It is amazing how quickly it greens up after a good rain!! Well, much to do and now is a good time, no kids at home! TTYL -stacy- | | |
| It's very early and I just figured that it was about time to write a little something. I have been trying to keep up with others blogs but am a little behind on both mine and theirs! I had surgery but am nearing the end of my recovery and I am so ready to get out and be active!! It is really hard when a doctor tells you to take it easy for six weeks. We have a pool and the temperatures have been in the nineties. I have been out watching the kids swim but have not been able to get in myself! I keep hoping that I will be able to swim in the next week or two. I hate the idea that I will be starting from scratch but maybe I will be able to appreciate the fact that I can get out and really get to some serious activity! School ended well and I have enrolled in two science courses for the fall semester. I will definitely try to get the most out of the rest of my summer! That's it for now.

| I've been out at Lake O' The Pines for the last couple of days and it was great out there. Today was a bit on the windy side but that actually kept it a bit cooler. The only trouble was with the tents last night. They kept flapping and making a bunch of noise! We did some hiking around the lake and the kids did a bunch of swimming! The bathrooms, at night, were so infested with some funky looking bugs that we needed to be speed demons to get the heck out of there! Unfortunately there is some sunburn as well on just about everyone as well, thank goodness for aloe gel! I am hoping to share some pictures with you soon!

| Well... The Trig test wasn't a success but, at least I have a lot of company. The professor said that she would have to grade on a curve or give us the opportunity to earn more points somehow. So, as for now, I am just happy that it's a three day weekend. We are suppose to be going to Lake O' The Pines for some relaxation but I think I am going to sleep at home. My bed is much more comfortable that the hard ground.
The weather has been great and the pool was used a bunch today. I am looking forward to the water warming up just a little bit before I can get in!
I have started to take pictures but still need to get the necessary memory and software for my camera. Hopefully it'll all come together soon.

| East Texas Baptist University has a ropes course which is an outdoor course that involves ropes and cables and is used to build unity in a group. It can be a great experience! Many times its church groups that use the course but others do too. There are trust issues involved and strategy solving, team building challenges. It is a great way to get a workout and at the same time get to know others! There are low challenges as well as some that are rather high. It's hard to put into words the kind of actual activities it consists of but suffices to say it gets the job done. Most people don't leave the same as they arrived! At the end of one of the challenges there is a zipline that's great! Well, I'm gone to do some more work on Trig (the story of my life). I covet your prayers for a great ending to the semester! Thanks!

P.S. I ordered a digital camera. I am just going to need to learn how to use it, once it gets here! | | |
